I’m more or less testing out how well I can upload a picture. Bear with me during this experimental phase!

So I’ve been spending most of the evening trying to get this blog program to post on both WordPress and MySpace at the same time. Thus far no success. Any tips fomr anyone?

So, who am I? I am a 26 year old Korean Linguist serving in the US Army. I am currently deployed overseas in Iraq and have been here for about 4 months now. Yeah, imagine that, a Korean linguist in Iraq. Guess how much translating I’m doing over here? Yup, you guessed it, none. My first duty station was in Korea, however, so the Army got what they needed out of me, so now I’m just a warm body over here in the desert. But I digress….

I am happily married to my beautiful wife Molly who is back at home waiting for me. We have one daughter, Beth who’s almost 2 years old already. We have government quarters at our base. I’ll be coming home in November then 4 months later in February we kiss the Army good by and we’ll move back to Ohio where we’ll buy a house and settle down. I’ll finish up college and either get into electronics or law enforcement, haven’t decided which yet.

So like i said this is my first time using Windows Live Writer, so I’ve got to learn the layout a bit. If my blogs look ‘plain’ for the first couple of post I apologize and will work on adding all the neat frills and other crap that make a blog look good. And for my MySpace readers that read this, I’m trying to  cross-publish this so this long winded introduction is probably a bit boring since you all already know about me.

So, what can my readers expect from my blog? Well I think of my self as a fairly average person, so you’ll likely read about some mundane day to day chit chat about what’s going on in my life. But I also like to comment about what’s happening in the news, so expect commentary on current events. Also, I’m a Amateur Radio Operator (Ham Radio) so expect things from that including talking about new radios coming out and old classics I happen to acquire and other things about my experiences. So all in all there should be a little something for everyone on here.
